| Gombe Stream National Park is the smallest of Tanzania's national parks and is only accessible by boat. This park is a chimpanzee haven. In addition to chimpanzee, you are likely to see red colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and the olive baboon. Although this is primarily a forest reserve, there are woodlands and grass as well. Carnivores are uncommon in the forests, which makes Gombe a prime destination for walking safaris. |
