Lake Manyara is the home of the famous tree climbing lions. This diverse landscape changes from the thick green forests where blue monkeys and baboons play, to the expansive waters of Lake Manyara where many of the 380 species of birds can be found. Although this is a relatively small park, you will still see elephant, giraffe, zebra and hippos. This is an excellent destination for a short half day trip, or a full day at leisure.
