Most noted for the amazing numbers of flamingos that flock here, sometimes up to 2 million at one time! Keeping them company are a vast variety of other water birds such as pelicans, herons, storks, ibises, ducks geese, plovers and sandpipers. Truly a bird lovers paradise. This beautiful lake if framed by tall cliffs and yellow fever trees and is home to a plethora of wildlife including the Rothschild's giraffe, hippos, waterbucks, and leopards. This park has also been designated as a special reserve for the protection of the black rhino.
